Little bit's Story

Little Bit is a whole lot of cute! At a whopping 4.5 pounds, this precious Chihuahua mix is about as small as they come. What she lacks in size, she more than makes up for in sweetness, charm, and a whole lot of love.

This darling little girl found her way to Colorado from Texas after her owner passed away. Its clear that she was loved and well cared for because, at 11 years old, shes in wonderful health and has excellent manners to match. She is house-trained, free roam trustworthy (though she prefers to have a family who is home often), and does well with new people. She previously lived with other dogs but she can have a little touch of jealousy when it comes to another dog trying to share her space on the couch or dog bed.

Shes about 98% sweet and 2% spicy, which is just enough sass to keep life entertaining. That tiny sprinkle of Chihuahua attitude is all part of her irresistible charm. She adores being held and will happily melt into your arms for a cuddle, but shes not the clingy type. Shes the perfect balance of affectionate and independent, making her an easy little companion to have around the house. Now shes hoping to find one more family who will treasure her for the rest of her happily ever after.

Little bit is in foster in Loveland, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/little-bit

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
