Little Anne's Story
Little Anne is a beautiful Foxhound who was transferred to us from another area.
She was originally found as a stray, so we do not know her background.
Little Anne is energetic, friendly and eager to meet new people!
Annie has met another dog, Ricky at the shelter and they get along great! Annie likes to mount him during play. Although it does not bother Ricky, some other dogs may take offence. She also tries this with some humans when over stimulated.
Little Anne may have been used as a breeding hound as she doesn't know much more than sit. She is a nose to the ground hound, is sweet and happy and would like to have her own family who is committed to her training!

If you are seeking an energetic, affectionate dog, Little Anne is the gal for you!

Little Anne is 4 years old, spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. She weighs 17kg (35lbs).

Foxhounds are highly energetic, independent, and sociable scent hounds known for their intense stamina, friendly nature with people/dogs, and loud, melodic baying. Originally bred for hunting, they require extensive daily exercise and may be stubborn to train.

If you would like to adopt a pet, please call Caledon Animal Services at 905-584-2272 x4698. Our team will conduct a telephone interview and arrange adoption paperwork digitally.
