Lisa Leslie's Story
Meet Lisa Leslie, a six-year-old, 15-pound Maltese mix with an adorable little voice, and a serious talent for snuggling! This sweet gray-and-white girl has a charming habit of “talking” to her people with little chatter barks, as if she always has something important to tell you.

Lisa is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her humans. She will happily crawl right into your lap to be picked up, curl up for a cuddle, or simply enjoy being near her favorite people. She walks nicely on leash and is friendly with everyone she has met at the shelter.

Lisa came to Home Fur Good through a PACC911 plea after spending her entire life in the same home. Suddenly finding herself in a shelter was a huge change, but this resilient little girl has been a trooper! She was understandably overwhelmed at first, but she has warmed up beautifully and is now showing everyone what a loving companion she can be. She has even had a trip to the groomer and is looking absolutely adorable!

Lisa is reportedly potty trained and crate trained. Her previous family said she was uncomfortable around young children, so a home with kids age 10 and older would be best. She was also reported to prefer being the only dog, particularly because larger dogs make her uncomfortable. She may be compatible with smaller dogs.

Lisa has been through a lot of change, and what she wants now is simple: a loving person or family who will give her time to settle in and then enjoy all the affection this precious little girl has to give. If you’re looking for a devoted lap dog with a sweet personality and a cute little “voice,” Lisa could be your girl!

Lisa’s adoption fee of $250 covers essential services such as spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.

Please don't hesitate to schedule an appointment to meet Lisa by calling 602-971-1334.
