Lisa's Story

Lisa is a darling, energetic spayed female Shepherd Mix who is looking for a new home. She was originally brought to the shelter as a young stray so we do not have any information about her background. Lisa was adopted out for several months, but came back to us as her owners were moving and found that she was a little 'too much puppy' to handle. Lisa is around 10 months old and will need a lot of training, however— she is very engaging and eager to please. She is playful with other dogs and does well with children. We are unsure how she is with cats. Lisa is doing better on a leash and is working on her house-training while she waits for a new home. (MORE/UPDATED PHOTOS TO COME!) If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
