Liora's Story
Meet Liora<br/>Liora means "light," and it couldn't be a more fitting name for this sweet girl. With a gentle spirit and a heart full of love, Liora has a way of making every day a little brighter. Whether she's lounging in the living room, following her people from room to room, or cuddling up on the couch, she brings a calm and comforting presence wherever she goes. According to Liora's current foster she is incredibly affectionate and happiest when she's close to her people. If you're sitting on the couch, she'll happily plop down beside you-and if given the chance, she'll rest right on top of you. She has a charming habit of resting her head on anything she can find: your lap, your leg, the couch cushion, or even another dog. She simply loves being connected to those she cares about. She is wonderful with children and has a remarkably gentle nature. When her family is busy around the house, Liora is content to sit quietly at their feet, just happy to be nearby. She's the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the center of attention-she just wants to be part of the moment. Liora is also impressively quiet. While she isn't a fan of being crated, she settles in without complaint and doesn't make a peep. She sleeps comfortably in her crate overnight when it's needed from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. and does well with a few hours of daytime crating when needed. In fact, she's so quiet that many people wonder if she knows how to bark at all. Despite her laid-back personality, Liora does enjoy playing and does like to roughhouse with the current resident dog. She loves canine companionship and socializing, making friends wherever she goes. Her expressive ears and sweet personality make her impossible not to love. One important thing to know is that Liora previously experienced a heat stroke, so exercise and outdoor activity during hot weather should be carefully monitored. She does best with caution during summer months, especially during the heat of the day. Liora isn't just a pet-she's a loyal companion, a professional cuddler, and a constant source of comfort. If you're looking for a loving dog who wants nothing more than to be near her people, rest her head in your lap, and share life's quiet moments, Liora may be the perfect addition to your family.
