If you're sitting on the couch, she'll happily curl up beside you-and if you let her, she may just climb right on top of you! One of her sweetest habits is resting her head on anything she can find: your lap, your leg, a couch cushion, or even another dog. She simply loves being connected to the people and animals she cares about.<br/>Liora is wonderful with children and has a remarkably gentle nature. When her family is busy around the house, she's perfectly content to quietly sit at their feet, just happy to be nearby. She doesn't need to be the center of attention; she simply wants to be included in the moment.<br/><br/>And if you're looking for a quiet companion, Liora may be your girl! She isn't a fan of being crated, but once settled, she is incredibly quiet and doesn't make a peep. She sleeps comfortably in her crate overnight when needed, from approximately 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., and does well with a few hours of daytime crating. She's so quiet that people often wonder if she even knows how to bark!<br/><br/>Don't let her laid-back personality fool you-Liora definitely has a playful side. She enjoys playing and roughhousing with the resident dog in her foster home and loves canine companionship. We believe she would do best with a doggy brother or sister who can keep her company.<br/><br/>Liora has also been cat-tested. She was curious but not reactive or aggressive toward the cats. She has never lived with one, so we believe a home with a cat could potentially work with slow introductions, supervision, and appropriate training.<br/>One thing her future family should be aware of is that Liora can become possessive of food and water, so she should be fed and given water separately from resident animals, especially while everyone is getting acquainted. Management and careful introductions will be important in her new home.<br/><br/>Of course, we can't forget those adorable, expressive ears! They're just one of the many things that make Liora so incredibly lovable.<br/><br/> A Note About Hot Weather<br/>Liora previously experienced heat stroke, so her future family will need to be mindful of exercise and outdoor activity during warm weather. She should have limited activity during hot summer days, plenty of access to shade and water, and should avoid strenuous exercise during the hottest parts of the day. With a little extra care and common sense, she can enjoy life safely with her family.<br/><br/>Liora isn't just a pet-she's a loyal companion, professional cuddler, and constant source of comfort.
