Linkin Bark's Story

Hi, I'm Linkin Bark! I'm an overgrown puppy coming in at nearly 90lb of fluffy love. I get excited when playing with friends and may jump on them or put my mouth on things I am not meant to. I am working with volunteers and staff to learn how to mind my manners. I’ll do best in a home that can continue training to help me get my energy out in appropriate ways and with no small children. I get frustrated in my kennel and don't show my best side in the shelter, but when I get outside I'm able to show my true personality. I am able to correct my behaviors and am super smart, so the staff thinks I can thrive in a home with large dog experience to help me grow into a perfect boy. Although I love to play with my dog friends in playgroup, I would like to meet any future dog siblings before I go home with them to ensure we get along.

Sounds like a good fit? Come visit me and any of my available friends at Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control during their open hours of 12-4pm daily, with extended hours of 12-6pm on Thursdays. Adoptions are first come first serve, in-person only with an approved application that you can fill out during your visit. During your visit, adoption counselors will go over my medical history and behavior notes, then you get to hang out with me. I hope to see you soon!
