Link (Sir Linksalot)'s Story

Hi, I’m Link—though some people call me Sir Linksalot, and honestly, that feels right. I’m a Golden Retriever with a heart as soft as my fur (which you’ll find out when I curl up next to you in bed… because yes, I sleep there all night). I’m a loving, playful, sweet boy who thrives on being close to my people. One of my favorite things is “middle”—if you know, you know. If not, I’ll happily teach you.

I do have epilepsy, so I need phenobarbital every 12 hours without fail. Consistency is very important for me, and my medication costs about $50 per month. I do best with humans who are reliable and comfortable managing a simple but strict schedule. In return, I’ll give you endless affection, loyalty, and companionship.

I’m house trained, dog-door trained, and can be trusted to hang out in the house without a crate just fine. I know sit, down, middle, off, and come, and I genuinely enjoy learning and interacting with my people.

I’ll be honest—I really like attention. If I feel ignored, I can get a bit mouthy to remind you I’m there (it’s my not-so-subtle love language). I’m not a fan of being crated for long periods and will absolutely let you know how I feel about it, though I’ll go in willingly to eat. I’m happiest when I’m included, cuddled, and treated like the family member I am.

If you’re looking for a devoted, snuggly, slightly demanding best friend who will love you with his whole heart, I might just be your guy. 💛
