Linguini's Story
We rescued Linguini from Orange County Animal Care in May 2023. Shortly after, he was adopted and spent the next two years as the beloved companion of his mom. Sadly, her health declined, and Linguini returned to us in April 2025. He has been living in a loving Foster home since then.

There's so many reasons to love Linguini! Here are just a few:
* He's good with cats and other dogs.
* You can take Linguini anywhere and count on him to be quiet and well-behaved. That includes restaurants, hotels, dog parks, campsites - just to name a few!
* He LOVES being outside! His foster home is in a high-rise in downtown San Diego, and his favorite hangout spot is a comfy cot (with an umbrella for shade) on the balcony.
* He is up for new adventures! He went paddle-boarding with his foster mom and loved taking in all the sights and sounds!

His Foster Mom, who has nicknamed Linguini "Noodle", shared this update:

"Noodle's been with me for 8 months, and last week he fell asleep on my chest for the first time ever! He's not really a "lap dog" - more of a "I'll lay next to you, maybe on your legs if you're lucky" kind of guy. He's an independent boy. So that little moment absolutely melted me. He often acts like he doesn't like cuddles, but I say he secretly does - you just have to smother him!

Noodle is very easy to care for and is totally chill. We went a 1,700-mile, 15-day road trip - car camping, crashing with friends, and staying in hotels. Noodle did amazing! He loves being outdoors and would love a yard in his forever home. He loves getting his steps in checking out new places, and then he settles. He is always quiet and perfectly behaved wherever we go. He sleeps like a champ, and he's an EXCELLENT car dog - enjoys gazing out the window, getting cuddles, and snoozing.

Noodle does great chilling at home alone while I'm at work. He's such a good boy and just snoozes, watches Bluey, and waits for us to come back. He gets so excited to see us! Noodle is social with all dogs and is a great with his foster sis, Shelby. He shares and rides perfectly in a stroller with her. Shelby usually initiates cuddles with him, and he is always accepting. I think Noodle could do with or without siblings in his future home. Noodle is a sweet, strong, stoic senior gent with soft fur, a big heart, and a whole lotta love left to give!"

To meet Linguini/Noodle, please email:
placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
