Lina's Story

Lina is a 7-year-old, 12-pound terrier mix with a big personality packed into a tiny body. Originally a semi-feral pup from Cherokee, NC, Lina has come a long way and is discovering just how cozy and fun life inside a home can be.These days, Lina’s favorite place is right in bed with her people and her foster dog sibling, soaking up all the comfort she missed out on before. On leash, Lina is a great walking companion, though she prefers a little personal space and may let out a growl if unfamiliar dogs get too close. She’s currently living with a small dog and does well overall, but she’d likely thrive in a home that understands her need for boundaries. Cats, in her opinion, are not friends.Lina is looking for a patient, understanding home that will continue to help her feel safe & loved. She is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, is on monthly flea and heartworm prevention and her adoption fee is $250.

All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
