The shelter will continue to assess her as she gets more exposure, but she will need slow introductions, positive reinforcement, and understanding.<br/><br/>She is also sensitive to busy or hectic environments, especially during walks. A calm, predictable routine and continued confidence-building training will help her feel safe and secure.<br/><br/>Ideal Home<br/>Lily will thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home with an adopter committed to gentle training, structure, and emotional support. A calm household in a less-busy area will help her feel at ease and reduce the triggers that can be overwhelming for her.<br/><br/>She is not suited for homes with children or highly active, over stimulating environments. A patient adopter—preferably female or someone able to thoughtfully support her fear of men—will be key to helping Lily grow into the confident, loving companion she is meant to be.
