Lily's Story
Lily was surrendered through no fault of her own and has proven just how resilient she is. After a few days of adjusting to the busy shelter environment, she truly blossomed into a happy, affectionate girl who eagerly soaks up attention from anyone willing to give it.
She previously lived with other dogs and children and is said to do well with both. She is also friendly with strangers and enjoys meeting new people. However, Lily does not like cats, so a cat-free home is a must for her. She loves toys-especially balls-and enjoys playtime just as much as cuddle time. Lily is housebroken, crate trained, rides calmly in the car, and walks nicely on a leash, making her a wonderful companion for both adventures and cozy evenings at home.
Lily absolutely loves to cuddle and go for walks, and she's happiest when she's getting affection from her people. She also seems to think she's much smaller than she really is and will happily sit or lay on you if you're sitting down, soaking up all the cuddles she can get.
Lily can get a little lonely when left by herself and may howl, so she would do best in a home where she isn't left alone for long periods. She thrives on companionship and will reward you with loyalty and love.
She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for DHPP and Bordetella, and heartworm negative. She is pending dewormer and preventatives, and her adopter will just need to update her rabies vaccination.
