Lily's Story
Born February 9, 2020 Lily aka Lily Bear, Lily Bell is a female German Shepherd mix seeking a forever home! This girl is a huge cuddle bug! She's that old saying Sweet and Spice and everything nice! She is spunky, lots of energy, sassy, and playful. You pick her up to hold her she usually cuddles right into your arms like a baby. She even reaches for you, with her front paws, if she wants you to hold her. Lily’s ideal family would be an active one who would include her in adventures like hiking, running and camping. Lily loves kids and want to be part of the action wherever she goes!

Lily has Megaesophagus which is a medical condition effecting the esophagus, which is the muscular tube that carries food from the mouth to the stomach. She eats her meals in a custom built Bailey chair so she can remain upright 20-30 minutes after each meal. After that, she is right back to her puppy antics! Families who have adopted dogs with Megaesophagus report that the feeding process it is pretty easy and routine after you get the hang of it.

Lily currently lives with several other dogs and one elusive cat. She is kennel trained, and currently learning how to ring a bell to let her people know she wants to go outside. Lily knows basic commands but gets excited and forgets sometimes. She definitely has the German Shepherd smarts and is highly trainable. Lily is leash trained and loves walks and car rides. Lily’s ideal home would be with a secure 6 foot fence with adults or adults and children over 5. Applications can be accessed at www.mikeyschance.com.
