Lily's Story

Lily is about 2 years old and 8 lbs, Silly Lily is a high-energy little goofball who's always curious about the world and ready for her next adventure! While she may bark when first meeting someone, she truly loves people, kids, and other dogs.
She was an incredible mama to her babies, but she's definitely ready to enjoy her own "teenage" phase now! Lily is a total lover girl who enjoys laying on her people and being as close to them as possible. She's very food motivated (a slow feeder is recommended!) and will happily sit for a snack.
Her favorite toys are tennis balls, and she's also a big fan of tug-of-war 🎾 Lily is full of life, love, and joy -- and she adapts quickly to new environments.
Because of her high energy, Lily will need daily playtime and would do great in a home with other dogs who are either patient or ready to play along with her. She's great with kids, but like many young pups, she may nibble occasionally when excited (she does respond well to correction!). She will also benefit from some continued training, especially when it comes to jumping.
Lily prefers to sleep with her people and always wants to be touching someone -- she's happiest when she's close to her humans 💛
If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion, Lily is ready to be your adventure buddy! To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.

https://longwayhome.org/apply

❤
Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.
