Lily's Story

Lily is a calm, affectionate five-year old dog with a sweet and easygoing personality. She loves people and makes fast friends with everyone she meets. Her favorite way to show affection is through kisses, and lots of them.

Lily is deaf, but it hasn’t slowed her down for a second. She’s navigated the world beautifully, adapting with confidence and resilience. She has completed Petco’s basic training course, mastering hand signals in place of verbal cues, and is now building on those skills in more advanced training. She’s smart, intuitive, and eager to connect.

At five, Lily is the perfect balance. She’s past the chaos of puppyhood, but still playful, curious, and full of life. She enjoys walks, exploring, and goofy bursts of zoomies, but she’s equally content to snuggle up beside you for a long nap. Lily is social with other dogs but can be dog selective. She enjoys playful interactions with many dogs, but certain personalities aren’t always her match. Since the behavior does not show up with most dog, we do not believe Lily needs to be the only dog in the home, but dog companions should be considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure the right fit.

Lily will do best with an adopter who understands the breed and is willing to continue reinforcing her training with structure, patience, and leadership.
At her core, Lily is pure love. She is loyal and endlessly affectionate. She doesn’t just want a home, she wants her people, the ones she can adore every single day.
