Lilly Belle-Foster-to-Adopt's Story
***Lilly Belle***
5 year old female yellow Labrador Retriever

This girl is typical of a Lab, never met a stranger, happy, every day is an adventure! She came in with her mom, Hope, 7, from a surrender to the Dog Warden due to a move out of the country.

In their early years the girls were house dogs who went on walks, had a nice backyard to play in and even rode around with the young kids on a battery operated child's SUV.

Over time, the family no longer had time for them so a kennel area with a doggie door was built so they could go in and out safely, but they were no longer in the house with family the majority of the time.

The girls are happy, playful and loving and would likely adjust well to living in a house again. They are friendly with other dogs, kids and likely cats, although every cat is different.

Lilly is slightly overweight and needs to lose 10 pounds before being spayed. She also is lyme disease positive (asymptomatic) and is being treated with doxycycline.

Since LIlly has been with her mom, Hope all of her life, we would like to place the girls together. However, if they are not placed by the time of their spay we will consider separating them. However, they would likely do best in a home with a doggie friend as that is what they are used to.

If you are interested in more information on them, contact abbykirkland77@gmail.com
