Her foster mom calls her an angel—and she means it. Lilly has settled right into home life like she’s always belonged there. She loves kids, enjoys walking her foster brother to the bus stop, and then heads back home for naps and cuddle time.<br/><br/>She’s unbothered by storms, amazing on a leash, potty trained, and crate trained (even though she hasn’t needed it!). When left alone, she’s perfectly content just relaxing on the couch until her people get back.<br/><br/>She’s sweet, snuggly, and has just the right amount of silly—she loves treats and will happily show off her “sit pretty” to make you smile.<br/><br/>Lilly does well with other dogs but can be a little bossy, so she’d like to meet any potential doggy siblings first. No cats for this girl.<br/><br/>If you’re searching for a best friend who’s equal parts snuggly and fun, Lilly might be your perfect match.<br/><br/>Lilly is a 4 year old Pit Bull Mix and she weighs 50 lbs. <br/><br/>Sadly, Lilly tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away! We just need to get her into a home during her treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about her heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering her (we’d love to find her a foster home!). Once her treatment plan is completed, Lilly will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!<br/><br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
