Lilly's Story

What's all the hype about designeer breeds? People pay a $1000 for a designer breed Schnauzer/Yorkshire Terrier mix a Schnorkie! But why pay so much money when there are over a million homeless dogs in the US?
MEET LILLY!
This sweet fluffy girl, likes to sit beside you on the couch and barks excitedly when it's time to go for a walk. She goes outside to potty, and hasn't had any accidents since her first week in her foster home. She's also used to being crated when her people are away. Lilly is eager to go for walks and enjoys socializing with others in the neighborhood. She lives with two other dogs, cats and is also fostered with children ages 10 and older. She would likely do well with younger kids too. Lilly weighs 21 pounds, was recently spayed, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative and up to date on her vaccinations. Our mixed breed adoption fee is $125 to help cover the veterinary costs.

Lilly was likely abandoned in Houston as she was hanging out at the same location for over a month, always on the lookout. She started trusting me and my dog when we would see her on our walks, but many times she would run back into the woods. Eventually she loved the treats and the attention and is now in our home as a foster dog. There was no microchip or tags, so found signs were posted where she was found and also listed on every lost and found page in the area. But still no one has claimed her so it's time for her to find a family.
