Lilly's Story

Meet Lily!

Lily is a 2.5-year-old spayed female shepherd/husky mix who absolutely LOVES her canine friends! In fact, she loves them so much that we are requiring a canine companion in her adoptive home.

Lily can be a little timid when out in public, but she gains confidence with a buddy by her side. She is currently working on improving her leash skills, and she is both house trained and crate trained (as long as she has a furry friend nearby).
She has been staying in a room at our facility and has done wonderfully with her minimal freedom. She hasnt been destructive or vocal, and despite being part husky, she didnt inherit their famous talking skills! Lily is quiet and rarely makes a peep.

One of Lilys favorite things? Car rides! If the car is moving, that window needs to be cracked so she can feel the wind on her nose.
Lily isnt a snuggle-bug who wants to curl up on the couch, but she does enjoy affection. She loves being stroked, accepts hugs, enjoys ear scratches, and absolutely melts for belly rubs. When she dances over and drops a toy at your feet, shes asking you to play!
Because of her timid nature, we feel Lily would thrive in an adult home with:
A calm environment with minimal traffic
A secure fenced yard
A confident canine friend to show her the world is a wonderful place

Potters Angels Rescue's Adoption Policy
Before you fill out an application please be sure that a Rescue is the option through which you are going to choose to add an addition to your family. We are all volunteers at Potter’s Angels Rescue- most with full time jobs and families in addition to volunteering and going through the entire adoption process with an applicant that then purchases a dog takes up a fair amount of precious time. We would like our volunteers to focus their efforts and time on those applicants that are serious in helping a rescued animal. Here at Potters Angels Rescue, we strive to adopt our animals out to the best matches possible for them. This means that an animal other than the one who initially catches your eye may be a better fit for your home
