Lilly's Story
Hi, I’m Lilly—a two-year-old pit bull/Aussie mix with a heart full of sweetness and a little bit of shyness around the edges. At 34 pounds, I’m the kind of gal who’ll melt into your lap for cuddles but also hop up for a play session when I’m feeling confident. I’ve been through a lot with my sister Piper, and I’m very nurturing with her—we’re pretty inseparable. Therefore, I’d likely do best in a home with another dog.

I’m crate trained and pretty good on a leash, though I might get nervous and sit down until I understand what's going on. Be patient with me—I promise I’ll catch on quickly. I am not potty trained yet but my brother’s only took two weeks to fully potty train and considering we are not puppies, my training will likely be that quick too. I love kids and get along wonderfully with other dogs. I don’t guard my food or react to barriers. I have not been cat-tested but I can be if you’d like. I’m not super prey-driven so we think I’d be fine with them. I’m shy at first but once I warm up, I’m all affection and energy.

I will be spayed and fully vaccinated before adoption. I’m in Burkesville, KY, but I can be transported out of state for the right home. A transport fee may apply if volunteer transport is not available. Could you be my person?
