Lilly's Story

Lilly is a sweet, gentle girl with a soft heart who is still building her confidence in the world-but when she feels safe, her loving personality truly shines. She may start out shy, especially in new situations or around unfamiliar men and teen boys, but with patience and kindness she begins to open up and show just how affectionate she can be.

Lilly does especially well with younger kids and seems to enjoy their calm, gentle energy. She also gets along well with other dogs, and in off-leash settings she can be playful and social. She's house trained and enjoys having a routine she can rely on.

On leash, Lilly can feel more nervous and reactive, so she'll need a patient family willing to help her feel secure on walks and continue building her confidence. She does best in quieter environments where she isn't overwhelmed, and she'll truly thrive with consistency and understanding.

Lilly is not a fit for a home with cats, and she is known to be an escape artist, so secure handling and a safe, contained environment will be very important for her.

What Lilly needs most is a calm, loving home where she can feel safe, go at her own pace, and continue blossoming. In the right environment, she has all the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion
