Lilith The Kissy Monster <br/><br/>Lilith is about 2 years old and 56 pounds of shiny gray perfection, with soulful eyes, ridiculously cute ears, and the sweetest little freckled toesies.<br/><br/>But as pretty as she is, her personality is what really gets you.<br/><br/>Lilith is a happy, affectionate, people-loving girl who seems to believe there is no such thing as too much love—or too many kisses. She’s sweet, silly, confident, and has that wonderfully happy-go-lucky personality that makes her incredibly easy to fall for. She loves affection and being part of whatever is going on, but she’s also perfectly capable of settling down and relaxing.<br/><br/>And pretty much everyone who meets her loves her.<br/><br/>Right now, Lilith is also discovering some of the finer things in life. Like beds. Apparently no one told this girl that humans invented giant soft squares specifically for lounging, and she would like to know why this information was withheld from her for so long. Watching her settle into home life and realize that she gets to be comfortable, safe, and loved has been pretty special.<br/><br/>She walks well on a leash, rides great in the car, and has done wonderfully on outings. She’s the kind of dog who can curl up with you at home but is also ready to hop in the car and see where the day takes you. If you’re looking for an adventure buddy who also happens to be a world-class cuddler, Lilith is applying for the position.<br/><br/>She appears to be house trained and is great with other dogs after proper introductions. She has lived with both small and large dogs and also spent a short time living with cats without incident. Like any rescue dog, she’ll benefit from a family willing to give her structure, consistency, and a little time to settle in.<br/><br/>And honestly, she just keeps impressing us. Every day we learn something new about her, and every day we find another reason to love her.<br/><br/>Which makes her story that much harder to believe.<br/><br/>Lilith originally came into the shelter as a stray. When the shelter ran out of space, this beautiful, healthy young dog ended up on the euthanasia list. We rescued her on the very day she was scheduled to die. She came frighteningly close to losing her life for no reason other than there simply wasn’t a kennel available for her.<br/><br/>She’ll make you laugh. She’ll happily join you for an adventure. She’ll curl up with you when it’s time to relax. And given the opportunity, she will absolutely kiss your face.<br/><br/>Lilith already got her comeback.<br/><br/>Now our kissy monster just needs the family who looks at that sweet gray face and realizes she was supposed to be theirs all along.
