Lilith's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our sweet girl, Lilith, is currently living in a foster home with two of our volunteers. She's lives with 5 other dogs and has quickly learned each dog has their own boundaries and play style. She's done well in her crate and has been quiet while her foster mom works from home. She has far exceeded our expectations and has quickly become comfortable in the back yard. She's a little nervous on where she belongs when inside and hasn't learned to just relax like the other dogs yet. She still prefers to relax in her crate. She is very unsure of why there are strangers talking on a box in the living room (TV) and will bark and pace back and forth. We're sure with a little time, she'll be ready to binge watch some shows! She's slowly learning that leash walks can actually be fun but will need practice. She was very reluctant to leave the shelter grounds for walks, as that is where she had spent the majority of her life and that was her safety zone. Now that she's in her foster home, away from the shelter, it's like she just decided she has to try to be brave! Lilly, as foster parents call her, will thrive with routine, guidance and a companion dog! Treats are also a big help!!!

If you have a heart full of compassion and the patience to let a shy pup bloom in her own time, Lillith could be your perfect match! All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.

Learn more about our Adoption Information here and fill out an application here.
