Lilah's Story

Lilah is the sweetest little sidekick you could ask for — loyal, affectionate, and full of love once she trusts you. She’s playful with other dogs (especially smaller ones) once she warms up, but she also enjoys having her own space to relax and recharge.
Lilah takes a little time to settle in and build trust, but once she does, she’ll be your shadow and constant companion. She thrives on structure and routine, and she absolutely loves car rides — she’ll happily join you anywhere you go!
Because Lilah is most comfortable around women, we are seeking a female adopter for her. She can be fearful and reactive toward men, even during walks, so continued training and patience in that area will be important.
Lilah does best with slow introductions to other dogs and benefits from close supervision during the first few weeks. She can be a bit possessive of her person at first, but with time and consistency, she learns to coexist peacefully. She also has some food guarding tendencies, so she should be fed separately — she’s crate-trained and knows to go into her crate at mealtime and bedtime. She sleeps quietly through the night in her cozy crate.
At her core, Lilah just wants to love and be loved by her human. Once you earn her trust, you’ll have a devoted, affectionate best friend for life.
