Lilac is 4 yrs old<br/><br/>Lilac is a sheltie with a beautiful, winsome face. She’s a sweet girl who’s just beginning to discover the joys of family life. She is a little shy around people (though she seems to have a soft spot for men). Lilac is quick to climb onto the sofa for attention and pets the moment you sit down. She’s done well meeting other dogs and even the neighbor children. Because of her shyness, older or quieter children would be the best match for this sweet girl.<br/><br/>Lilac enjoys food, is treat-motivated and will occasionally play with toys on her own; however, she isn’t quite ready for interactive play just yet. She does well on a leash and happily explores her yard and environment on walks, even if loud noises startle her. This smart girl has already learned a new phrase: when her foster says, “Let’s go home,” she heads straight to the driveway, happy to lead the way home.
