Lilac's Story
Lilac is a 4-month-old female Lab mix with a gorgeous, eye-catching coat—her spots make us think she may have a little Catahoula in her! She’s got soulful puppy-dog eyes, a petite frame, and a whole lot of confidence packed into a small body.

Don’t let her size fool you—Lilac can keep up with puppies twice her size and then some. She loves romping around outside, wrestling with her canine friends, and showing off her playful spirit. Toys are her jam, whether it’s a good bone to chew or a stuffy to proudly parade around. She knows how to stand her ground with other dogs and plays with confidence and flair.

Despite her spunky, fearless play style, Lilac is incredibly sweet and affectionate with humans. She’s thrilled to see her people and will come barreling toward you with the dopiest little run and the waggiest tail you’ve ever seen. She’s the kind of pup who makes you smile the second she locks eyes with you.

Lilac is still quite small and we don’t expect her to get much bigger than 40–50 lbs. Potty training and crate training are works in progress—as expected for her age—but she’s a quick learner and eager to please. She does great with dogs of all sizes, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful fit for just about any household.

Lilac would thrive in a home ready to embrace a happy, confident, playful puppy with just the right amount of sass and a whole lot of love. If you’re looking for a spunky little sidekick with enough spark to light up your entire life, Lilac might just be your girl!

If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out our application, and someone will be in touch with you shortly!
https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/
