Lila's Story

Meet the adorable Lila, a young female pup with a heart as big as her spirit! This sweet girl is a bundle of joy, she has a gentle and curious nature. Lila is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than to snuggle up and show her loyalty and devotion. She is a quiet pup, but don't let that fool you - her smart and playful side shines through. Lila is also friendly to other dogs, making her the perfect addition to a family with an existing furry member or as a loyal companion for a first-time dog owner. With her loving and gentle spirit, Lila is sure to bring happiness and warmth to her new family. She is currently learning some obedience, how to walk on a leash, and not to jump on people when she gets excited.

Our amazing Trainer rescued Lila off the streets of South LA on July 4th where she had apparently been roaming for a couple of weeks with a ruptured eye and blood dripping down her face. We immediately got her into our Vetrenarian and got her into surgery. She has recovered very well and underneath that very shut down shy girl, blossomed a very sweet loving dog. She is such a doll. Sweet to the core. Can’t imagine what she went through on the streets before she came into our care.

The major steps are the adoption application, the interview(s), the home check, ID and social media verification, the meet and greet, the adoption fee, the transfer of ownership along with medical records, and planning the best day to bring your new family member home. We always recommend it be earlier in the day when the home will be calm for a few days. And we are there to guide the family through every step of the decompression and settling-in phase.
