Meet the adorable Lila the Shihtzu mix! Sweet Lila came to us over a month ago from a hoarding situation in Jefferson Davis County. She & her puppies weren't being cared for properly and were severely neglected. All of her puppies have been adopted, and now it's Lila's turn to find a forever family. <br/><br/>Lila is the best tempered dog you'll ever meet. She is friendly with everyone and everything that crosses her path. Lila is doing wonderful with potty training and is fully house trained, now. She is 6 years old, we believe. Lila is currently going through heartworm treatment, but can be adopted now. She is not symptomatic and is otherwise completely healthy. Our rescue will cover her heartworm treatment cost. Lila walks very well on leash as well. She is a total couch & lap dog. She would prefer to be either an only dog or in a home with other smaller dogs her size.
