Meet Lila!<br/><br/>Lila is a 3.5 month old "Rez Dog" which means she's a delightful mystery mix with unknown breeds contributing to her unique mix, but whatever breeds do make up this adorable pup, they created one very sweet little girl! <br/><br/>Lila came to us with her littermates from the Ute Mountain Animal Shelter in Cortez, Colorado and she's ready to find a forever family to call her own. Like many young puppies, Lila is still learning that new people, places, and experiences don't have to be scary. She can be a little reserved when she first finds herself in unfamiliar situations, but with a patient friend, a few yummy treats, and plenty of encouragement, she starts to relax and let her gentle personality shine through.<br/><br/>Lila is looking for a family that will help her continue building confidence through positive reinforcement, socialization, and lots of love. We think she'd enjoy having a friendly canine companion to help show her the ropes, and she may also do well with a respectful kitty friend. Lila should also do well with polite children who understand that nervous puppies sometimes need a little extra patience as they settle into a new home.<br/><br/>As with all puppies adopted from our shelter, Lila will need continued socialization, positive reinforcement-based training, and the guidance every growing puppy deserves. <br/><br/>With a little time and a lot of love, we're confident Lila will grow into a happy, loyal companion who will make her future family smile for years to come!
