Lightning's Story

Lightning lives up to her name. This 8 year old girl is spirited and excitable. She loves to snuggle and give kisses. Lightning came to us when her owner passed away. Lightning was very loved and was trained to look for discarded needles that needed to be cleaned up. Lightning has lived with many other dogs and she has lived with cats.

When lightning gets very excited she can to this cobby, nibble thing that sometimes pinches. Because of that and the fact that she has never lived with young children she is looking for a mature home.

Lightning is crate trained and settles in her kennel. She could be adopted with her friend Roxie or separately. Both dogs do well together but also like they alone time and sometimes Lightning can be overbearing and push Roxie out of the way.

Lightning is up to date on all routine vaccinations, rabies vaccination, lyme. She has been microchipped and she recently had senior blood work done to ensure that all organs are working well.
