Meet LIFFEY, a sweet 3 month old 17 pound black lab mix. If her gorgeous face and big floppy ears didnt steal your heart, youll be delighted to know she is an all around good girl who is ready to be your best friend.<br/><br/>There are only positive things to say about Liffey. She is proving to be very smart and trainable, she learned sit, shake, down, stay, and come within two weeks of being with her foster family. She likely has many more tricks up her sleeve and will do well in a home that has time and interest in continuing to teach her new skills. <br/><br/>Liffey is sleeping through the night (if youre an early riser!) and takes big puppy naps during the day after getting tired out on leash walks and playtime in the yard. She didnt love being crated during the day at first but has gotten used to being in there for 2-3 hours. Mostly, she wants her people to be home spending time with her. Her human family describes her as being clever, attentive and said shell stay by your side. <br/><br/>Some additional house training will be required as Liffey gets used to your home and routines but she is close to being housebroken. She loves toys, treats, and any playful energy you can offer. <br/><br/>Liffey currently lives with a fur-brother and can hold her own in a wrestling match or game of tug. She would probably be fine as an only dog if she had some neighborhood dog-friends. She does not live with cats but she would probably bring her spunky puppy energy to that interaction. <br/><br/>If your home is ready for a beautiful, playful, clever companion look no further than this amazing girl.<br/><br/>GHR ONLY ADOPTS TO ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 25 AND PUPPIES WHERE CHILDREN ARE OVER THE AGE OF 6 AND TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE TIME FOR THEM.<br/><br/>It doesn't matter where the pups are from; it only matters where they live the rest of their lives.
