This freckled cutie is Lieutenant. He weighs eleven pounds and he is about four years old. He is built like a Dachshund but his coloration and other features point towards Terrier DNA. Lt is a great dog who thrives with attention and affection. He’s a tad nervous with new people but he does warm up quickly. Lt gets along fine with other dogs and cats but he loves humans the most. Foster mom says he adores her and follows her everywhere. Lt crates well and does pretty well with his housetraining. His favorite past time is crawling beneath the covers and curling up in a ball to sleep. He loves to be extra warm so sunbathing on the deck delights him to no end. This little guy came from a horrible living situation before we rescued him so he is thoroughly enjoying this wonderful new chapter of life. He’s ready to turn the page one more time and begin his happily-ever-after with his new, forever family. <br/><br/>Lt is fully vetted -- neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on his vaccinations and deworming.
