Meet Liberty! <br/><br/>Liberty is a beautiful 1-year-old Black Lab mix who is looking for someone to show her what a loving forever home feels like.<br/><br/>Liberty came to us as a stray from another area after being impounded alongside another dog. Since arriving at the shelter, we have learned that the shelter environment isnt quite her cup of tea. She is a very nervous girl here, but we know there is so much more to Liberty than what we see in her kennel.<br/><br/>Once she feels comfortable, Libertys sweet personality starts to shine. She is a smart girl who loves being near her people and wants nothing more than to be loved and included. She is young, eager to learn, and has all the potential to become an amazing companion with the right person by her side.<br/><br/>We have not yet tested Liberty with cats or children, so those introductions would need to be done thoughtfully in her future home. She would benefit from a patient family willing to give her time to adjust, build confidence, and learn that she is safe.<br/><br/>Liberty would also love to find a foster home where she can get a break from the stress of shelter life and truly show us who she is outside of the kennel. We believe a quieter environment could help her blossom into the happy, confident dog we know she can be.<br/><br/>If youre looking for a loyal, loving companion who just needs someone to believe in her, Liberty may be the perfect match.
