Libby's Story

Meet Libby —Tiny Girl, Big Boss Energy

Hi, I’m Libby! I’m an outgoing, confident little lady who’s always ready to explore the world and see what’s going on.

I’m curious by nature and love to investigate my surroundings—you never know what treasures I might find! I’ve got lots of playful puppy energy, but when it’s time to rest, I’m all about the cuddles. Whether it’s the couch, my kennel, or a cozy little nook (like a bookshelf… with a slipper, of course), I can nap just about anywhere.

I’m also pretty independent for a pup—I’m happy to entertain myself with my toys when everyone’s busy. You might even catch me having a serious chat with my squeaky bear about who’s boss (spoiler: it’s me).

I love everyone I meet—kids, cats, dogs—you name it! Like any puppy, I can get a bit bitey during play, but I’m learning what’s appropriate… and I’ve been told ankles are definitely off-limits.

I sleep soundly through the night in my kennel and am doing well with potty training—still a work in progress, but I’m getting there! I’m very smart and food motivated, which makes me a quick learner. I’m going to shine in puppy classes!

If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, slightly goofy girl who will keep you laughing and love you endlessly, I might just be your perfect match!

Born: January 26th, 2026
Breed: Lab Mix
Gender: Female
Size: Expected to be Medium-Large
Activity Level: Puppy
Cats: Yes
Dogs: Yes
Kids: Yes
Adoption Fee: $395

If you are interested in meeting Libby, applications can be found here:

http://mgpr.weebly.com/dog-adoption-application.html

Thank you to Sunny S-H Photography for the beautiful photos of Libby

Manitoba Great Pyrenees Rescue's Adoption Policy
The adoption process starts with an application form to find out more information about your family to ensure the best fit for the dog. Applications can be found at http://mgpr.weebly.com/ Second step is to have reference checks and vet checks. We want to ensure all dogs go to responsible loving homes. Thirdly, is the meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting. We encourage all members of your family to be in attendance at this visit as the dog will be an integral part of all of their lives. The final step of the adoption process is a home visit from one of our team members. The home visit allows us to see the environment in which the dog will be living as well as to offer any tips and advice to making your home dog friendly. Then your new family member will come home to shower your family with unconditional love.
