Lexapro (Lexi)

Hi there! My name is Lexi and I weigh about 30 lbs right now at about a year old. You may notice that I have a forever puppy looking face! I'm definitely one of the cutest girls around. My personality is that of a loving wild child. They believe I have some type of herding genetics in my DNA, which can make me a little bit nippy. However, I do very well with children over the age of 12, dogs and cats. I just need someone that is willing to help me learn that putting a leash on or directing me into a crate, does it mean that they are going to grab my collar and do something that might terrify me. They are not sure why I now react this way after coming back, I sure do wish I could tell them. I can be a bit reactive on walks, but I love treats and they help me redirect. I definitely benefit from having a dog pal that matches my energy or even a few in the same house. <br/>Jumping on people is also one of my favorite things to do, but they are doing their best to help curb this behavior of mine. I just love my people so deeply I can hardly contain myself at times! <br/><br/>I really really hope my forever home is out there. Right now we will be running off of donations and fosters homes. So please be patient with us.<br/><br/>You may apply to adopt if you are in a state that surrounds VA state lines!<br/><br/> Adoption Contracts, and vet papers will be given at time of adoption. All dogs will be UTD on shots and spayed/neutered before going to their furever family!<br/><br/>All adoption fees are considered donations! We do not do refunds on donations.
