Update on Lewie: He is now 6 years old and is so ready for his forever home. Lewie was adopted but brought back to us. Lewie loves to run and would make a perfect farm dog. Lewie is high energy so we do not think he does well with children. <br/><br/><br/>Lewie is a 4 year old blue tick/ beagle mix who is a large boy weighing around 74 pounds. He would do best in a home with adults only- no small children. He was reportedly housebroken in his previous home, and keeps a clean kennel at the rescue. Also please check your information carefully. All current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Dogs must be on heart worm preventative. Our adoptable cats must live inside and adopters must agree not to declaw. If these criteria are not met, we will not process your application.<br/><br/>Adoption Process: This is not a first come, first serve organization. We will do our best to process applications within 48 business hours of receiving them. The application must be completed in full including first and last name, complete address including city and state, complete veterinarian information (this will be checked and all pets must be neutered or spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and dogs must be current on heartworm prevention) and the name of all current pets in the household. We are 100% volunteers and I will not subject anyone who is giving of themselves and their time to hostile conversations. Please be patient with us. We are not paid for our endless hours and are looking for the BEST home for the babies in our care.
