Meet Levi <br/><br/>Levi is a lovable 2 year old mixed breed who came to us from the Romulus Animal Shelter after it became clear just how incredibly underweight he was. While we don’t know what led to him being so emaciated, we do know this—Levi has nothing but love to give, and we’re making sure he gets everything he needs to feel safe, healthy, and full again.<br/><br/>And despite everything he’s been through? Levi is pure sunshine.<br/><br/>This sweet boy has quickly proven himself to be one of the most gentle, loving, and well-mannered dogs around. He sits so patiently while waiting for his meals (a true gentleman), and absolutely soaks up every ounce of affection he can get.<br/><br/>But his most iconic trait? His tippy-tappy feet.<br/><br/>Any time you walk up to his kennel or start giving him love, Levi does the cutest little happy dance—tiny feet tapping away like he just can’t contain his excitement. It’s impossible not to smile. Around here, we’ve started calling him our very own Gene Kelly.<br/><br/>Levi is also a fantastic playmate with other dogs. He’s playful, respectful, and does a wonderful job reading social cues and responding appropriately. Whether he’s romping around or just hanging out, he’s the kind of dog that makes everything feel easy.<br/><br/>Most of all, Levi is an expert cuddler and hugger. He just wants to be close to his people, soaking in love and giving it right back.<br/><br/>Levi has shown us nothing but green flags during his time here, and we truly believe he could be a wonderful addition to just about any home. He is neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Levi's adoption fee is $250, which covers part of the medical care he has received.<br/><br/>**Please note that the breed listed for each of our dogs is a rough estimate unless DNA results are provided in their Bio. All strays have rough estimates of their age based on the condition of their teeth.<br/>Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.
