This darling little guy is super sweet and gentle and loves being with his people. He is also quite independent and will gladly hang out by himself. He loves everyone he meets and can live with other small breed dogs. He is cat friendly and lived with a cat in his former home. <br/><br/>Levi loves meandering around the yard if you have one and is good in the car. He should be carried up and down stairs as he has trouble doing them on his own and can stumble. Levi enjoys a nice stroll but he is not a hiking buddy. He would prefer to be hanging out on your lap. He is quiet most of the time and occasionally will make a little howl sound when he is excited like at mealtime or when it’s time to go outside. He does the cutest little happy dance after going potty. <br/><br/>Levi is UTD, neutered, HW negative, dewormed, chipped, and had a dental and lump removal. His mouth was rotted so his remaining 15 teeth were removed (none left). He eats kibble with no problem and must remain on Hill’s ID kibble and can (prescription food) due to IBS which is now under control. He also gets a digestive enzyme supplement and a probiotic in his breakfast. He has dry eye and requires Tacrolimus eye drops 1x daily. He is on a glucosamine supplement for leg strength and an omega supplement for his skin and coat (you can use these as his treats). He is housebroken and also knows how to use potty pads. He was very good at the groomer.<br/><br/>Levi arrived from the shelter with an upper respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia and full-blown irritable bowel syndrome. We admitted him into the emergency hospital ICU for three days. Between his lungs and IBS, his prognosis was not good. This little guy is a fighter! He beat all the odds. Ask them to mark your file.
