🚨 Lettuce Needs a Hero — and Soon! 🐾💚<br/><br/>Poor little Lettuce is an unclaimed stray who has clearly had a rough start. She arrived underweight and unsure of the world around her, but behind those timid eyes is the sweetest, gentlest little heart just waiting for someone to notice her. 💔<br/><br/>The shelter is a very overwhelming place for her. Being surrounded by barking dogs makes her anxious in the kennel, but the moment she gets outside of it, you see the real Lettuce. She greets other dogs slowly and cautiously, but warms up quickly once she feels safe. She craves affection and happily soaks up every bit of attention she can get.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, Lettuce is running out of time here. Our kennels are filling up quickly, and being confined in a kennel all day is only increasing her anxiety and pent-up energy. As much as we wish we could give her all the time and attention she deserves, our officers are overwhelmed with cases and simply cannot provide the environment she needs to thrive.<br/><br/>We desperately need someone to step up for her — an adopter or rescue willing to give this sweet girl the chance she deserves. Please help us by sharing Lettuce’s story so the right person sees her in time.<br/><br/>We’re not yet sure how she does with cats or if she’s fully housebroken, but she does her best to keep her kennel clean. She hasn’t had the opportunity to meet children yet, but we see no issues there, she would just need work with jumping, and hard play as she is still very much a puppy at heart!<br/><br/>Lettuce doesn’t need perfection — she just needs someone willing to believe in her. With a little patience, love, and a safe place to finally relax, she is going to blossom into an incredibly loyal and loving companion. 🌱<br/><br/>Right now she’s scared, confused, and waiting… but the right home could change her entire world.<br/><br/>Please consider adopting or helping us find a rescue for Lettuce today.
