Let's Get Real for a Minute...... (Willow)

I know how this usually goes....<br/>People scroll past dogs like me.<br/>I'm not a fluffy tiny puppy.<br/>My ears were cruelly chopped and I wear the scars inflicted on me by awful humans.<br/>I do understand.<br/>But here's the thing.<br/>I'm a Survivor.<br/>I'm the most loyal girl you will ever meet.<br/><br/>When I was rescued, I weighed about half what I should have. <br/>I was emaciated, scarred, neglected and abused.<br/>My body told the story of trauma.<br/>My eyes told the story of fear.<br/>The rescue people weren't sure I'd survive.<br/>But every day, I kept going.<br/><br/>Today I'm a 2 yo, 48 lbs survivor with a heart bigger than my entire body.<br/>I'm crate trained, potty trained and currently completing a highly regarded training program where I'm learning all kids of impressive commands.<br/>I'm working hard to become the best version of myself!<br/><br/>I am so full of love once you let me know I am safe!<br/>I love being close to my humans- walks, adventures, relaxing…I will be your best friend and biggest cheerleader.<br/>The people who know me call me the biggest, wiggliest cuddle bug! <br/><br/>Because I missed out on normal puppy experiences and appear to have survived more than one attack, meeting new dogs can take me a little time, With proper introductions, I can do well! (I proved it in training!) <br/>But truthfully? I may be happiest as your one and only. I've spent my whole life surviving.
