We cannot believe this little dude is still searching for his forever home! <br/><br/>Now that Lester is settled into his foster home he’s showing just how playful, happy and full of life he really is. He absolutely needs another dog in his forever home to help with playtime and confidence.<br/><br/>Lester’s story started in a very sad place. He was rescued by a Good Samaritan from a neglectful home where the larger dogs tragically killed his brother. The owners simply left their dogs to fend for themselves and do what dogs do. We are so incredibly grateful Lester survived and now he deserves a soft landing and a loving home for the holidays!<br/><br/>Lester is an 11 pound scruffy nugget that is the perfect mix of sweetness and classic Chihuahua charm.<br/><br/>At just 2 years old he is fully vetted feeling good and ready to start fresh. He currently lives with dogs of all sizes and gets along with everyone but he definitely prefers dogs closer to his own size. Big dogs can feel a bit overwhelming for this pint sized prince (understandably considering his past).<br/><br/>Like many small breed dogs Lester needs a moment to warm up. New people and new places can make him a little unsure so his first instinct is to quietly hang back and observe. Give him time, patience and kind words and his real personality starts to bloom!
