Leroy's Story

MEET LEROY<br/><br/>In French, Le Roi means The King. In English, it has become Leroy, a name not usually associated with royalty. In this case, though, we'll make an exception. <br/>Leroy is generally a calm, dignified boy. When he was at the adoption kennel at the track, the ladies from the main office used to come to the kennel and bring him up to the office just to hang out. He loved it and they did, too!<br/>FF Leroy Brown was born in July of 2021 and weighs about 80 pounds. He is not cat friendly (that's when he's not so calm) and can be strong on lead if he happens to see a rabbit or squirrel. <br/>But Leroy is great with people and with medium to large dogs. He is affectionate but not in a needy way. He has been good when left alone and is a beautiful boy with dark, soulful eyes who goes with the flow. <br/><br/><br/><br/>We place Greyhounds in homes in the following areas: all of New Jersey; Staten Island NY; and the Pennsylvania counties of Northampton, Lehigh, Berks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia and Bucks.<br/>The adoption fee is $675.00.<br/>For more information please visit our website at: www.makepeacewithanimals.org .
