Leonora's Story

Quick Stats:
-Spayed female
-2-3 years, about 55 lbs
-Current on vaccinations
-Heartworm positive, slower treatment started
-House and crate trained
-Good with other dogs and people
-Not tested with cats or children
-Micro chipped
-Location: Fostered in Round Rock

Hi, my name is Leonora and I sure hope you don’t ignora me! Or ignore me. The Volunteer says these photos do not do me justice because I have a beautiful black and tan, yet still kinda sable, coat that is so beautiful.
I also have an adorable widow’s peak hairline that points right at my snooter and my licker, so you know just where to aim your kisses.

I ended up in the pound right before Christimas. The shelter people described me as GORGEOUS and very sweet, gentle, HIGHLY INTELLIGENT, and a well behaved girl. I am potty and crate trained and already knew to do a SIT to get a treat. The shelter people were also impressed that I already seem to know how to walk on a leash.

I am a spayed female, a nice size of almost 60 pounds. I get along well with my foster siblings. I share their interests such as eating, but I do not share their interest in toys or balls, yet. They do look purty fun, so maybe one day I will give it a go. But for now, eating is my hobby.
?
I do really really love people, but as with many a GSD, I start off a bit reserved with new people, once I give you a good sniff over, and determine if you are a bad or good egg, I will be your best friend. Plus they say I am very soft and you will want to pet me.
What else can I say about me? Oh yes, I have been told that my beautiful big brown eyes could charm the French fry right outta your hand. But today I hope they charm you into filling out an application. I am heartworm positive but the rescue will help you with that, so do not let it deter you.
