Leonardo's Story

Don't tell his siblings, but Leonardo grew up a bit spoiled - he was such a sweet lap baby, the staff could not help but hold him. He has a fun time playing with toys and learning for treats. While he still needs help learning about new things in the big world, he walks nicely on the leash so can go exploring and learning with his family. With his lean, leggy build, he can go over the average baby gate.

Est DOB: July 2023 * Est Weight: 40# * Breed unknown - guess based on looks

The Animal Shelter - Calhoun County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
We are open by appointment. Please inquire before visiting the shelter to make the right match. Please only bring small children after narrowing the field to a few dogs you want to meet in the outdoor play yard. An approved application is required and most dogs will need a fenced yard. Tethering, chaining, and roaming are unacceptable. All animals are vaccinated and will be spayed/neutered and microchipped (dogs) prior to leaving the shelter. This is a real bargain, as our adoption fee of $125 for dogs and $75 for cats is much lower than the average vetting bill!
