Leonard is an approximately 1-2 yo., 51 lbs. wonderful dog. He's initially shy but warms up quickly and turns into the sweetest most loving dog. He's potty and crate trained and walks nicely on leash. He has learned basic commands and the 'place" command quickly. He's doing great with recall and is overall very obedient. He's quiet in his crate. If you're looking for a dog that has received training so he can succeed in a home that will continue the work, this is your boy. Leonard does awesome with friendly small and large dogs and loves to play. We would love for him to go to a home with another friendly and playful dog. He truly enjoys their company. He has met our kitty and was very friendly and actually tried to engage her in some play. We also think Leonard would do well with respectful children. He is a medium energy dog and would make a perfect companion for many homes. He does not have the traits of a working dog and has displayed no herding instincts. He's actually extremely chill. Leonard loves his walks and playing with his dog friends in the yard but also checks in with his handler often and comes up for pets and snuggles. Leonard has an incredible temperament and is a total catch. We would love a home for him that keeps up his training and provides him with the guidance and structure all dogs need to thrive. Leonard is special and we're looking for a great home for him.
