Leon's Story

Meet Leon! Leon came to us as a stray, but he was clearly someone's beloved baby at some point. Leon is a sweet natured, affectionate boy. Though he is quite large, he strongly believes he is a lap dog and loves to cuddle with his favorite humans! Leon is food driven and intelligent, he already knows "sit" and would benefit from more positive-reinforcement based training to help him master more skills. While Leon may have a big bark, his "tough guy" act is just a facade; he is known by staff for his sweet and happy disposition! He has done okay with other dogs in the shelter. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Leon home. If you are interested in meeting Leon, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 70lbs Age: 2yrs 5mths 3wks Animal has been Neutered
