Leo 's Story
Meet Leo!

He’s a sweet soul who hasn’t had the easiest start in life. After being rehomed from his original owner, he was placed into a new home where he was introduced to an unfamiliar dog and a completely new environment. Unfortunately, the dogs were not a good match, and despite everyone’s best intentions, the situation didn’t work out. Through no fault of his own, he was surrendered again. He’s simply a dog who’s been searching for the right fit — a stable, understanding home where he can finally feel safe, secure, and loved.

Leo is a roughly 60lbs, 2 year old American Bully mix, unfortunately his previous owner was not able to provide a lot of information about Leo's history. He is now neutered, microchipped, dewormed and fully vaccinated with Rabies, dhpp, and bordetella.

Leo needs a minute or two before he is completely comfortable but he is very curious about everyone and loves to say hello with nice sniffs, he is a little shy around men, but otherwise after some toy throwing and treats given he is your new best friend!

He gets along well with other dogs with slow introductions but does best with females. He would likely do best as the only dog in the home due to his history. He has not been kid tested but older kids such as teens would likely do well with him while he adjusts to his new environment. He has not been cat tested.

if you are interested in giving Leo his new forever home please contact Mississauga Animal Services at (905)896-5864 opt 3 to book an appointment.
