Leo's Story

Leo was an owner surrender at the shelter and was left in horrible condition. His face and body were completely matted and he could not even see anything. He was timid and didn't want any one to trim his hair there so we waited like that for weeks but no one came to help him. We were alerted of his condition and went to pick him up. After a day of getting to know us we were able to groom him and although it was uncomfortable for him he let is shave him down. He doesn't have the best haircut as we had to take all of his hair down but we are confident it will all grow back beautifully. He can be stand offish when he first meets you but once he knows you he wants to hang out and come for pets. If he's trying to get your attention he will stand up on his back legs and wave his front paws at you. He's a sweet guy who needs a fresh start at life and a committed person who can show him that there are kind people here. He's crate trained, easy on leash and a pretty gentle guy.
