Leo's Story
Leo is a dog who doesn't give his heart easily. We don't know his backstory, or where he used to live. We know that he had a family who knew he was at an animal shelter and they never came to get him. We know his foster mom has been working to gain his trust, and we know that he has a LOT of love to give to his new family!

Leo appreciates you taking your time to get to know him. He's not the best when meeting new people, but this makes sense when you realize that he is a little apprehensive and unsure. However, Leo is really good with other dogs and also doesn't mind cats! When it comes to kids, it's going to depend. Older kids who could understand that he needs some levels of calm and patience would probably be best. Leo may work well with another dog in the home, to help give him some confidence.

Leo is not super loud; he could be in a spot with shared walls. That being said, he would probably love his own yard too! He would be happy to go on a walk with you. Keep in mind he'll need regular brushing and the occasional groom, too.
