Leo's Story

Leo 's best day incudes a leisurely neighborhood walk, some play time with his dog friends, snuggles with foster mom, and plenty of nap time.

His DNA test shows a mix of pit bull & husky.

There's nothing fast about this guy! While he might race around the yard, engaging the other dogs in play, he'd prefer to lie by my side while I sip tea and read my book. And he's only 7 months old! Imagine how chill he will be in a few months as his puppy energy fades even more.

Leo came from a very crowded shelter, where he learned some good dog social skills. He's continued to hone those skills in his foster home, listening to and respecting the resident dogs. This is a dog who understands leadership and wants to please his people.

He was 35 pounds at 6 months old; vet thinks he'll be 50-60 pounds as an adult.
He walks nicely on leash, is housetrained and will benefit from further positive training.

If you'd like to meet Leo, please complete the short questionnaire:
www.remapdogs.org/adopt

Adoption fee: $450 (will partially cover his neuter surgery, estimated at $500-$750, scheduled for April 23)
