Leo's Story

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt.

// // Meet Leo! Leo may be the tiniest of the litter, but he has a huge heart and the sweetest soul. Born on 2/28/26, this adorable Chihuahua puppy is a calm, gentle little guy who prefers to take in the world before jumping into the fun with his siblings. Leo is the quiet observer of the group and rarely makes a peep — unless he’s thirsty or needs a potty break! He is gaining confidence more and more each day and has a very mellow, loving personality that makes him incredibly easy to adore. His foster family has completely fallen for him (one family member especially wants to keep him!), and it’s easy to see why. Leo would thrive in a loving home that will continue helping him build confidence while showering him with affection and patience. He is truly a special little puppy with a calm spirit and so much love to give. His adoption fee is $350. A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
